Dear NTUC

Date January 6, 2009

You know, selling the pre-cut parts is supposed to be a premium service for people who don’t want to cut their own chickens. NOT a way for you to get rid of unwanted bits of bone and slips of meat disguised as real chicken parts. I nearly lost a finger deboning those chicken ‘thighs’. The thigh is the bit above the drumstick, not the bit in between drumstick and actual thigh. Go study the anatomy of a chicken carefully.

Anyway, work going on well so far. I love the work place and the people, the problem is, I’m so used to being the last one to leave the office that now, I feel like a slacker when 6 p.m. comes, I have nothing to do and I’ll leave while everyone’s still in the office. But its ok, that’s a minor thing compared to other potential problems.

I have also been very good about part of my new year’s resolutions by bringing a healthy lunch everyday, so that I don’t eat sugary, fatty, oil, far too refined nonsense sold at food courts. The best part is, I’m actually a decent enough cook now for the lunches I bring to be more appealing than food court stuff. Apart from that, nothing else much to say. I can’t tote my DSLR everywhere and my point-and-shoot is dead, dead, dead. I’d LOVE to take a photo of the Stairs O DOOOOOOM, I climb every morning to work. I swear to god, this morning, I counted and there were ten flights. Someone told me there are 100 or more steps in it. URGH. I’d better be really fit by the end of this. Heh.

Spencer – The fatty stuff is all good and well until the food courts start churning out unhealthy and craptastic tasting food. Then it’s just a waste of my calories and health.
