FYI
January 5, 2009
Dear people who read my blog…you may start noticing a drop in posts from now on. The reason being that I have just started a real job and well, I don’t blog at work unless its my job to. Which sadly, isn’t happening yet. Also, I am terribly exhausted by the time I return home. Not so much due to my job but because Singapore’s transport system is a vampire that sucks all the energy out of you through the sheer lack of personal space and the amount of annoying people and ‘auntie-groping’. I hate this damned country, ’nuff said. But I love the people I have here. So anyway, please put up with any brainless babbling that comes about in the next week or so until I can build up my magical Jedi shield to prevent the horrible transport system from sucking all soul and energy out of me. In the mean time, crazy cat videos to drive away the last of your Monday blues…

Hey, congratulations on your new job! It is not related to writing, is it? Do share with us about your experiences at work. How was the first day?

Congrats on the job… I don’t blog at work either (although I technically can). I do read blogs and do a whole lot of rubbish to use up the excess capacity in my brain so that I can focus on my work.
Looking forward to reading stories about your new job

I can totally understand the part about the transport. Usually after I get home after a long ride in the crowded MRT, I am pretty exhausted as well. But congrats on the new job!

Hillary – Thanks! There’s not much to share right now, and its kind of a writing job. First day was lovely. =)
Eric – Thanks!
Relax – Yes, I am staying optimistic, its just the commute that kills.
Wendy – If it was the job that’s exhausting, it won’t be so bad, but its demoralizing to leave work feeling great and by the end of the ride, feel like roadkill. =)

(4th attempt at posting this… hmm… my web browser must be getting too old
)
Congratulations, Priscilla!
Maybe work off the commute-rage by mowing down clueless #%*@ hikers on BT in the weekends?
