Hey Priscilla,

No, it won't do for open wounds; Voltaren Emulgel contains some alcohol so it will hurt like... um... Jack Neo will hurt after his long-suffering wife is through with him. So, no :-P

@-ben, yeah, I know Ibuprofen can kill my stomach, thats why I save it for the days when I really do need it. Thanks for telling about the gel, I'll go look for it, seems like a more effective way of dealing with the pain in my knee than glucosamine or collagen gels. I'm guessing that its no good for open wounds. Yes, no?

Too much ibuprofen can burn holes in your stomach. I.e. Hello, ulcers!

Voltaren Emulgel is an excellent way of getting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs into the affected sites without using the digestive system. Apply to skin like you do for sunblock, wait 15 to 30 minutes... Voila! pain and angry inflammation subsides. Available at Watsons, Guardian, and pharmacies. No prescription needed. About $8.70 for a 20 gram tube; $17.55 for 50 grams; and $26.70 for 120 grams. Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Also good for soft tissue injuries. E.g. bruises when I hit a tree mountain biking.

Good luck for the PowerWoman Malaysia!

Woah! Awesome review! Now I must watch it :-P

If you like twisted versions of Alice in Wonderland, you might have heard of the game, American McGee's Alice. It rocks, and the soundtrack is composed by Chris Venna, formerly of Nine Inch Nails.

@-ben, yes, mutant cyst - it sticks out and it grows, its mutant. Alice in Wonderland is indeed out, I went to watch it. Its SO GOOD. And a better way to spend time than dealing with religious fanatics, I'd say. Lay off the fanatics and the English debate, go watch Alice and then watch it some more. =D

mutant cyst? Yuck. Wait, Alice in Wonderland is out? Sweet! I've been too busy trolling arrogant religio-Wacko fascist half-wits to notice... E.g. the claim that reciting Shakespearean English is useless without a working knowledge of medieval English and prose. Umm... Shakespearean English is Early Modern English. Hello? *facepalm*

@Krisandro, I'm not seeing any difference yet, its been only a week or so. That darned cemetary always makes me go up the hill really fast, on bike or on foot. =D

Just a heads up: not to be alarmist, but if you run alone at night, it might not be the safest thing to post your route?

How are your knees coping with the supplements?

Btw, I have never ran near a cemetary before but I definitely ran in a park that is so dark that I can hardly see what I am running on. The chills definitely makes me run faster. hehehehee.
